Role: Head of Operations
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE
Hours: 37.5 Monday to Friday
Type: Permanent

Due to growth, we are currently looking for a Head of Operations to bring energy and ambition to help lead the journey and continued growth of an established SME within the motor parts industry.

• You will take responsibility for the resourcing and development of the wider ops team.
• Working closely with the Head of Marketing to drive sustainable, organic growth whilst maintaining a healthy gross profit margin
• Drive improvements across all areas of the company's supply chain, improving accuracy and speed of delivery, while reducing wastage and costs, through better processes and automation
• Managing a small team up to 15 staff

We are looking for:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a management role, for example operations manager or project manager
• Interest in the motor industry
• Proven experience in suggesting and implementing business improvements
• Finance and accounting: working knowledge of budgeting cash forecasting and balance sheet
• Strong negotiation skills
• Organised and methodical with the ability to manage workload and priorities
• Flexibility to support the business during busy periods with extra hours and/or additional duties
• A leader: someone who inspires others towards our shared vision
• The successful person does not need to have experience in a similar industry, however, you must have an interest in the motor parts industry.
